About the Artist

Sean
Rouse.

Born and raised in Jacksonville, NC. I grew up on cartoons, comics, anime, and video games — and those worlds never left me. They're still what drives everything I make.

My whole thing is giving art life. I take what's in someone's head and make it real — and I get genuine enjoyment out of that. When you're in my chair, expect jokes. I'm a big kid at heart and I want the experience to feel like that.

I focus on bold color, anime and illustrative work, and blackwork — and I've competed at conventions to prove it. The art speaks louder than any title, but the titles tell you I take this seriously.

Contact me for availability. I take on the right number of clients to give every piece the time it deserves.

Heads up: I don't book pet portraits, custom script/lettering, realism, or tribal. If that's your idea, this form won't help — but plenty of great artists specialize in those styles.

Bold color, anime/illustrative, and blackwork. Those are the three styles I've built my practice around — they're where I do my best work, and they're what I take on. I don't do pet portraits, realism, custom script, or tribal.

Half day sessions (3–4 hrs) are $600 flat. Full day sessions (5–6 hrs) are $900 flat. Small pieces have a $100 minimum. A $200 project deposit secures your date — collected via a booking link I send after reviewing your request. The deposit rolls over for multi-session work and comes off your final session total.

It depends on the time of year and how quickly sessions are filling up. Reach out and I'll give you a straight answer on current availability. The sooner you submit a request, the better your chances at getting your preferred date.

Every booking starts with a request. Fill out the form on this page and I'll review your idea personally. If it's a fit, I'll send you a booking link to pick your date and pay the deposit. I don't take walk-ins or unsolicited direct bookings — the request process is how I make sure every piece I take on is something I can do exceptionally well.

Rarely. Occasionally I have last-minute cancellations — follow me on Instagram and TikTok for those. Otherwise, book in advance. Walk-ins almost never align with my schedule or the kind of work I take on.

11:30 AM to 8:00 PM. I work by appointment — showing up without one isn't going to work out. Email me at srtattoos1990@gmail.com if you have a general question.

Sometimes. Cover-ups depend entirely on the size, density, and placement of the existing piece. I can't make a call without seeing it. Submit a consultation request with photos and I'll give you an honest answer.

Yes — and I've specifically won a convention award for best tattoo on melanated skin. Color on deeper skin tones is something I've invested real time learning to do right. I take it seriously.
